Waʻa Kaulua Pae Kula

The Waʻa Kaulua Pae Kula program brings our canoe directly to schools across Manokalanipō. Students interact with the waʻa, meet crew and cultural practitioners, engage in hands-on learning, and build pilina with the voyaging traditions of our ancestors. From classrooms to canoes, keiki and kumu alike are invited into the story of Moananuiākea.
